Legendz: Wind Goddess

Legendz: Tale of the Wind maiden.
Ch.1

“Hey, Kaze no saga.”  
“That’s not my name, Alright!”
“Humph. Whatever.”

It’s been only three days and I just can’t take it anymore! Rezin thought to himself as he sat there on the edge of the roof top, beside him was a white dragon that had a blue patch that ran from the tip of his snout to near the end of his tail, white feathered wings, wore a pilot’s cap with a pair of goggles and a pair of leather gauntlets, beneath the cap was his gold blond hair and around his neck he wore golden collar with four red rings pierced through it.   

The wind dragon gazed down at his saga, which always seems to be hiding something important from him. Shiron gave a weary sigh then gently nudged Rezin with his tail.

“What’s wrong?”
Rezin turned his back to Shiron, refusing to look the dragon in the eye. “It’s nothing; let’s just head back, alright?”
How long am I going to be able to keep him from knowing the truth? Why me? Out of all the rest of the other people, why did it have to be me he chose?    

(Flashback from 3 days ago)

       
They found him, again! How did they recognize him? He had changed his look so they wouldn’t find him. And here I am again running away from child services lackeys, why me?
Rezin dashed down an alley and ran into an apartment complex, but they were still on his tail.

“Geez, you guys just don’t when to quit do yah?” Rezin shouted as he ran up the stairs.
“Quit running, and just come quietly! We’re not going to hurt you; we’re trying to help you!” One of the men in grey uniform called out to Rezin as they chased him up the stairs.

Rezin ignored them and continued scale upward to the top floor. Hopefully they would be too tried to pursue him, but not likely; this time child services must have hired athletes to bring him in, because they weren’t slowing down.
Dam it! They’re catching up! And he had already reached the top floor. This was bad; he couldn’t go back to the orphanage or foster care again, he just couldn’t! Because there a good chance of him being found by the very person he was trying to get away from.

Rezin stood at the edge of the roof top, maybe if he threatens to jump they would back off and leave him alone. “Don’t do it kid.” One of the men begs.
Rezin smirks and quickly glances down at the fire escape just a couple feet below; attached to the side of the building. “I’m not going back there. You can’t make me. I’d die before I end back at that dump.” Rezin says as he inches toward the edge.

“No!”
Suddenly a strong gust of wind nearly blows Rezin off the roof; he loses his balance and falls backwards, missing his target completely.
Oh crap. I’m going to die. Were his thoughts as fell from the 30 store building.
I don’t want to die, I know I said I’d rather die then go back there; but I didn’t mean it!
I don’t want die, I don’t want to die!
Somebody, Help me!

Some one was calling out to him, calling him into existence. He could feel his body forming out of thin air as he reached out to the source of the call.

Rezin squeeze his eyes shut as he waited for the impact. But he didn’t even hit the ground as a whirlwind surrounded him and some thing grabs a hold of him.
Rezin tries to see who or what saved him but the G force causes him to black out, before he blacks out; he sees a blurry outline. Whatever it is, it’s huge.
“It’s okay. I’ve got you, Kaze no saga.”


“Augh… My head.” Rezin wakes up with a major headache and burred vision.
“You’re up. Good, you had me worried there for a second.”
   “What?” Rezin sits up to see who it is, when his vision finally clears he see a huge white dragon looming over him; it’s blue eyes focused on him. “………. OH SHIT!!”

Rezin quickly scurries backwards away from the beast, but doesn’t see the edge he’s about to fall off of.
Just as his hand feels air instead of concrete he falls backwards. Not again!

“Watch it!” The dragon’s tail catches Rezin about the waist and pulls him away from the ledge, towards it’s self. “You have to be more careful, I’m not always going to be there to catch you Kaze no saga.”
It talked. It actually talked. Rezin stares up at the dragon with wide eyed look on his face; this was just too much to handle all at once. So he faints.

When the kid’s head falls to side with eyes closed, the wind dragon knows something’s wrong. What the hell?! He fainted! “Come on kid! Wake up!” The dragon says as he’s gently shakes the kid out of it.

“Aahh! Don’t eat me!” Rezin cries out as he covers his head with arms, trying to protect himself.
The dragon pulls his head back with surprise. “What?! I’m not going to eat you! You’re my saga, why would I eat my saga?”

Rezin peeks out at the dragon. “Come again? What’s a saga? And who are you?! What do you what with me?!”  
The dragon gives a weary sigh and explains. “Kaze no saga is one who creates or calls the wind. That is who you are and why I need you. I am Shiron the wind dragon Legendz.” Shiron releases Rezin and gently sets on his feet. Then lowers his head to look Rezin strait in the eyes. “I’m not going to hurt you.” Shiron says calmly.

“……. Okay. But I still don’t understand though. And I get the feeling you’re not going to tell me more than that; are you?” Rezin says as looks up and down at Shiron. Gees he’s huge! He’s got to be 15 or 16 feet tall!   
Shiron smiled. “If I can remember any thing from my past, I’ll be sure to tell you more.”
“Yeah, okay. Wait what? You got anemia or something?! Oh that’s just great!” Rezin scoffs.
Shiron narrows his eyes in irritation.

Rezin takes a step back. “I’ll be quiet now.”
